I have been talking to Brian Hill (Phoenix Fashion Week Director) and working out how to get involved more.
Should I spend money and promote the store with PFW or promote my own fashion show? 2 variables I see.
#1 - How much money will I spend with them and the how much exposer will I get?
#2 - If I spend money on my own fashion show how more more or less exposer will I get?
Send me your suggestions.

A lot of people (including myself) may wonder, what is the fascination with the Ed Hardy style. Well, I’m not sure that it is explicitly a love of his artwork in particular, rather, an excellent marketing strategy. Ed Hardy was in fact a true pioneer in terms of the tattoo industry and a respected artist in his field.
So, what about the clothing line?
Don Ed Hardy was contacted in 2002 by Ku USA, Inc to produce a clothing line. In 2004, Christian Audigier (Marketer of Von Dutch) joined forces with Hardy and the rest as they say is history. Get the right celebrity to get caught wearing one on TMZ and bang….you’re a fashion icon. It really seems to be that easy.
So I pose a couple of questions…Does Ed Hardy go the way of Von Dutch and the dodo? What do you think about paying 100 dollars for a shirt that was most likely designed from a tattoo that somebody got 20 years ago?
Are there any other Fashion Blogs from people in or around Phoenix, AZ area besides mine? I’m going to dig into this more.
Misguided Creativity is known for his dynamic, edgy graphic images and artistic tattoo designs. He has created a new clothing line exclusively for the on-line marketer, Different Trends. Experienced in the field of art and graphic design Misguided Creativity has now entered into clothing design by creating exciting impressions available for the casual , edgy and different street wear market.
His work is characterized by what he calls “perception design”. The individual has their own interpretation of each design, taking it to heart and making it their own. With a passion for traditional art, he has developed a reputation for tattoo design. “It was a natural transition from tattoos to clothing for me. There can be no greater satisfaction for an artist than to have someone wear your artwork, be it permanent or otherwise.”
Is it the photographer, products, location or the models? I’m sure all play a part but what is most important?
Send me your thoughts.
